so i'm back from retreat @ Desaru! there were only 8 of us. 7 after Judy left. wasn't as bad as i thot it'd be.. in fact it was just great!! loved every part of it..! before i went, there were my fears, my doubts, uncertainties.. but i had to surrender these to God and leave everyth to Him. this retreat is about Him, not myself.. or anyone of us..
every breakfast was continental; lunch - 8 course; dinner - steamboat, BBQ. we'd been too well-fed.. but we had an ALMOST-VIP treatment! we had the conference rm where worship and mtgs were held, where they provided us mint sweets, free-flow of drinking water, both ice and hot for our 3-in-1 instant coffee & tea.. which explains our numerous toilet-breaks..
On our ferry back, ship shared about how she saw tt God had been there before us and with us, providing for us, watching over us during meetings and when we slp, laughing with us when we joked.. i think tt's so cool.. God is totally awesome!!!
