had a fabulous day out and IN wif Jane ystdy.. supposed to go swimming & tanning first thg in e morning at laguna ctry club.. den discuss e prog for mission trip.. but it RAINED! so instd of mtg at e bus-stop, we met in church first to go thru e prog.. while waiting for e sun to hOPeFullY come out again.. abt 1plus.. we were ask to leave cuz they were washing e fellowship deck. had no room, so decided to go laguna.. still cloudy, but no more rain. walked there via e canal.. and some really ulunated n muddy road.. den finally there..
so it was my FIRST time there.. nice pl! i like e chging room.. but jane said the golfers' one is even betta.. got our towels n lockers n ready to go..
my FIRST time wearing my bikini! other than in the fitting rm.. was kinda self-conscious n shy at first.. den we walked to the pool wrapped up in our huge towel..good thg e pool got nobody kind and i was only wif jane ;P haha. and it's been eOnSs since i last stepped into a proper SWIMMING POOL!! can't even recall when e last time was! prolly 3, 4 yrs ago..i tHiNk. pity it wasnt sunny at all ytday or we wud have gotta ourselves a good tan! in fact we diDnt even get a siNgLE biT of tAn!!
went tampines BK to eat. cont our discussion. thot we'd shop around for awhile first. i had a stack of ESPRIT vouchers from e last time i shopped with ryn on her bday and spent over $100. all were due on 31 mAy.. so bought *colorful belt -- used the $10 less Voucher *Jane bought a Secret Potion with the Secret Potion@$26 voucher *bought one too -- with the $10 less Red Earth Voucher
den was thinkin if we cud spend like $100 today i cud get one stamp for my ESPRIT card.. n since we were alr spending so much.. din wanna waste e oppty.. but still short of $41.. so i bought *a bag - $39 - which i was gonna HiNt for my bday.. but oh well..might as well just get it now.. and STILL short of $2.. so we hunt ard for e chEapeSt thg to buy *Quite SillY* haha. e salesgirl suggested a hp strap which was $9!! so ex! we only need $2!! den finally she suggested e nail buffer $5! still ex, but at least more practical.. so ok.. $103. sheeSh! i spent so much just for one silly stamp!! and it was only LAST Sat tt bought a wallet and skirt from there and told myself NO MORE SHOPPING!! =x
headed for Simpang to try e PLASTER PRATA -HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY!!!- we were so lookin fwd to it n promised to reward ourselves with tt at e end of the day.. and YAyyz!!! "2 plaster prata and 2 tehcino ice pls" so this is our FIRST time eating Plaster PRata!! it's REALLY quite GoOD.. it's like sunny-side-up on (or in btwn) the prata!! e yolk's still wobbly and you can poke it and e yolk will break and OZzz out.. MMm~ *DrOoLz* yummiE yUm!! ;P
after tt we went to this nearby provision shop to check out the prices of some of e logistics we need for the prog! everyth there was really cheap.. glad we found a good pl to shop! so naturally, we had to write down e prices of alot of thgs.. shop uncle saw and told us off, like you can't write down our prices only see. we explained we were intendin to buy all those stuff from him. he walked off saying it's some LAW thg. so ok i kept my paper n pen. when we walked to the front.. he was like WE CLOSING, YOU CAN GO 7-ELEVEN.. he was obviously chasing us out n implying like yall can continue chkg e prices in 7/11, i dun care, you're not welcome to do it here.. like HELLOOO!!! we were gonna bring you more business LOrr!!*pissed* he totally spoiled our day!! when we passed e shop again half an hour later.. it was sTill OpEned!! Grr.. stupid old man! FiRST time being chased out of a shop like tt..
so many First TiMes.. and ALL with JANE. hahaha. n mgd accomplish quite alot of thgs oso! =)
