and so it seems like many of us are suffering from e withdrawal symptoms of e mission trip. from the moment our pickup drove out of COSI.. (i can still recall the children waving, some teary eyes) right up to now.. i've been missing the kids so badly.. miss the life in COSI, miss the way the kids call us "sister" or "brother".. even miss those times e team spent together.. but more than anyth else, e kids! esp. dianne
she's one sweet lil girl! speaks eng quite well! have no prob communicating with her! rmbr the first day when i met her. she looked like e cheery n bubbly sort! she always speaks with a smile, or like she's at the verge of laughing! (cept when she was crying) she told me she had a sis abt my height.. but i later learned tt she's actually all alone =( on e 2nd nite, when i spent some time in Ruth hse, kunthea (i love her too!) and dianne danced for me. dianne taught a few steps of a thai dance. that's when i learnt tt these girls are really talented when it comes to drawing and dancing. i really enjoyed hanging ard with all e kids. they have blessed us and touched us in so many ways, big and small, all in their own special ways, whether they realized it or not.. =)
my favourite moment share with dianne:
when i accompanied her to bathe on e last nite. while she was dressin up she asked me to turn ard.. she's shy~ so cute! so i told her i'd turn back after i count to 10 (in khmer).. when i started counting, she realized i was gg too fast and so she inSistEd tt she do e counting.. and counted quite slowly while i tried to speed it up. towds e end, she was like counting 9... 9.. 9... and i kept interrupting her 9... with my 10..10..!! and there was laughter in her counting.. and u know the feelin of how knowing tt some1 is happy makes u happy too? esp if e some1 is some1 u hold dear to.. and the same applies when that some1 cries..
