it's been more than a month since my last entry..
i'm in my room (hostel) now,
knowing i have TONS of things to do..
i'm half blind, wearing my left lens only,
cuz i slept with my lens last nite,
right eye cannot tahan anymore and
my specs'r twisted cuz i slept on it..
but i can't NOT blog abt LOVE LIFTED Musical
as SOON as i can..
scared wait too long i'll nv ever get to,
and by den i wun rmbr as much alrdy..
so here it goes..
2 JuLY 2004 abt 3pm in the Dance Room.
it was only a few of us
(Ryn, Kris, Abby, mE and A.Serene!)
we heard the song "I wanna be FrEE"for e fiRst time..
attempted to choreograph some steps..
fitting in steps we've done before.. even VJ mass-dance's..
but most of them we din even use in the end..
so nothing much was accomplished during this pract.
cept tt we decided we'll hav 2 couples to dance couple-steps,
and the rest of the girls to like "Awww" at the couple..
(din do the 'envy' part in the end also)
so thot of vEeN and gLeNn!
veen was part of the cast,
glenn was previously part of the chorus,
so A.Serene had to ask A.See Keen
if the guys can like join us for this dance scene
and she liked the idea.
called the guys.. and praise GOd!
both were keen and they agreed!!!
5 July >> went A.Serene's hse to watch GreAsE
to get ideas for AgO-gO dance..
11 July >> glenn and veen first time joined us
so ryn-veen/ glenn-me tried a few couple moves
and pract the "slide-from-under" steps *WoOh~
the twirling steps...
behind the curtains i rmbr...
they were really hilarious
and we had so much fun!
as the day of the actual performance drew closer
we were still prayin hard that glenn
wud be able to take leave from camp to dance.
he told me he had only 20% chance of making it.. =x
but despite that, he still came down for rehearsals,
even the FULL-DRESS and MAKE UP
so he ALSO had e chance to try out e make-up n everyth..
so brAvOz to u gleNn, even tho you cudnt join us for the musical, glad u joined us for the earlier practs and i'm sure God honors tt and yer willingness to serve HIM!
it was almost confirmed tt glenn wun be able to tk leave.
so it's like how how?? i'll have no dance partner...
A.serene said come to the worst she'd disguised
as a guy to be my partner..
cudnt think of any1 else.. almost everyone else we thot of was alrdy in the musical one way or another..
no one' s left.

boy, i must say i'm really really proud of you,
dance partner! u roCk!
adriel had ONLY ONE WEEK to learn the steps..
esp the "shepherd dance" where we took so long to master for THE Noise in yr 2001, and he mastered it in a WeEk!!!
in fact, less! cuz he alrdy almost perfect the 'split' by midweek and cud do almost confidently on wed's pract at jubilee hall..
Praise the Lord!!!
and now tt i think of it..
Adriel actually came to the dance room
quite often during our pract.

and giving you an idea of what u'd be doing..
since he alrdy knew Glenn cannot make it..
isn't HE wonderful...????

church - hair.do - make.up - lunch - bus.to.jubilee.hall - pract - ballroom - touch.up - SHOW1 - cheryl&yinbing.came - dinner.break - guoliang.bought.macs.icecream.for.us -back.ta.touch.up - prayed - SHOW2 - there.was.plenty.of.food.backstage - met.C.for.da.first.time - hmm - hOmE!

Free McDonalds CaKE (have u ever tried it? icy layer on top of another layer of soft moist chilled choc cake!) *drOols~* we gave Mac so much business, they repay us by giving us 2 FREE CAKES (both days also have.. so total FOUR!) so whenever the cake box was opened.. we'd be totally stuck to the food table.. like before the finale.. n there were sauages nuggets fries etc. think i ate super alot over those 2 days...

church - communion.service - FL - hair.do - make.up - Jubilee.Hall - Aunty Serene bought mooncake for us!! - touch.up - show1 - dinner.break - mommy.n.papa.came - went.BK.in.costume - banana.split.creampie - posed.at.roadside.to.tk.pic - Show2 - another.PIG.OUT.session.back.stage - FINALE!

Jane n I took pic with a Harley Davidson! we even asked for permission before we did. MORE FOOD MORE CAKE! i was doing my lab assignment backstage (thkz beRniE for helpiNg!) but didnt mgd to submit on time also > 0/100..
